You awake to the sound of a blaring emergency alarm in a patient room of what seems to be an abandoned medical facility. 
You wonder how you got here, slept through all this noise, and what happened to everybody as you come to.
Disoriented, you look down; you are wearing nothing but a hospital gown.

IT LURKS INSIDE is a solo mapping Tabletop Role-Playing Game by Alexei Vella, formatted as a short book (Zine). IT LURKS INSIDE is loosely based on games inspired by Dark Fort by Johan Nohr and Pelle Nilsson of MÖRK BORG fame, but instead of exploring a dungeon, you find yourself in a strange abandoned medical facility full of entities.

Using dice, pencils, paper, and this book, map out the facility, combat entities, and find a means of escape.

As you attempt to escape the facility, you will — 

Explore up to 20 unique spaces.
Encounter up to 12* unique entities you need to defeat to escape.
Find and use up to 10 unique weapons and items.
Collect up to 8 documents that reveal insights and clues on what happened to the facility.
